Invited

I sit waiting for amalgamation to decrease

I am invited!

Kitchen chair, pen, pencil.

My book with it’s ironic title ‘Master Plan’

And a Philip Larkin recital.

No altercation sires my entrance,

No graphic oxygenated shift! 

I am artlessly man,

Merely,

And being man I exist!
